Used Truck Sales Representative

Location: Racine



  1. Meet or exceed used truck sales and profitability objectives
  2. Seek new customers daily; includes making personal visits to prospective truck buyers; making outbound phone calls and using digital media and the internet to network and uncover sales leads
  3. Provide sales assistance to dealership walk-in and call-in customers
  4. Maintain high standards of customer service and support; including technical expertise, truck knowledge and finance options
  5. Educate customers on truck features and demonstrate use as needed; accompany customers on test drives
  6. Complete sales transactions in accordance with established dealership policies; write sales orders, secure customer deposit and complete all necessary paper work
  7. Professional delivery of sold units including explanation of warranty and service policies
  8. Provide ongoing customer service and support to all truck buyers; manage a CRM schedule to ensure post-sale contact is maintained and contact details are updated
  9. Timely resolve any customer issues or complaints

Skills, Knowledge and/ or Experience Required:

  1. Broad knowledge of all types of used class 5, 6, 7 & 8 trucks and components
  2. Familiarity with trucking industry is a plus
  3. High level of professionalism and business acumen
  4. Ability to obtain and maintain Wisconsin CDL driver’s license
  5. Customer service focused
  6. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  7. Detail oriented
  8. Effective oral and written communication skills
  9. Bilingual language a plus: Polish, Bosnian, Serbian or Russian

Educational requirements

High school diploma or Medium/Heavy duty truck industry equivalent experience
